We need a Surgical Assistant with the ability to establish and maintain great patient and working relationships. You will need the ability to multitask and be self-motivated. You must be able to communicate well and be confident in assisting Dr. Jessen in consultations, surgeries and post-operative care of patients. This position requires schedule flexibility. We work Monday-Friday and one Saturday a month. We are looking for someone who is a happy person with a positive attitude and likes working in a team environment. We are looking for someone who will give the best quality of care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Surgery preparation
Assisting the doctor during surgery
Instrument sterilization and infection control
Taking x-rays
Charting notes
Communicating with the doctor
Patient care
Qualifications:
Seeking an assistant with a strong work ethic in conjunction with a fantastic personality. Must be able to work in a team, be very detail oriented, dependable and willing to learn. Dental certification is required and surgical assisting experiences a big plus.
